About Quakers
Our baby Quaker Parrots are hand-raised with a focus on socialization, confidence, and helping them become wonderful companion birds. Quakers are known for their playful personalities, intelligence, and desire to be part of the family. They are active little parrots that enjoy interacting with their people, learning tricks, and exploring their environment.
Quakers can form strong bonds with their owners and often become beloved family members for many years. If you are looking for a fun, engaging, and affectionate small-to-medium-sized parrot, a Quaker may be an excellent choice.
Before you order: Quaker Parrots are prohibited in eleven states — California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Hawaii, Kentucky, Maine, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Wyoming — and need a permit in Idaho, Kansas, Rhode Island and Wisconsin. We cannot ship where the bird is not legal — see our state-by-state guide. Call (561) 328-4944 and we will check your state with you before you pay a deposit.
About Quaker Parrot
Quaker Parrots, also known as Monk Parakeets, are native to parts of South America and are famous for their intelligence, bold personalities, and talking ability. Many Quakers develop impressive vocabularies and enjoy communicating with their families through words, sounds, and playful antics. One of the things that makes Quakers so popular is their combination of intelligence and affection. They are often interactive, curious, and eager to participate in daily life. Their manageable size makes them easier to accommodate than larger parrots, while still offering much of the personality and companionship people love in parrots. With proper care, enrichment, and social interaction, Quakers can live 20 to 30 years or more and become loyal lifelong companions. 🦜
