The Hand-Fed Bond

All of our Pacific Parrotlets are hand-fed and hand-raised, which is essential for producing a tame, people-oriented bird. This process begins in the early weeks of life, fostering a deep trust between bird and human.

Socialization

We introduce our nestlings to household sounds, gentle handling, and multiple family members so they're well-adjusted before arrival.

Transitioning

We don't rush weaning. Each bird moves to solid food at their own pace, ensuring they're confident and healthy when they finally head home.

Great buying experience and I'm in love with my new babies! I've only had them a day but 3 were sitting on my hand this morning and I'm positive the 4th will join in very soon (I think there just wasn't enough room at the time for all of them!) Kalyn did a fantastic job setting these guys up with a solid foundation -- they're confident and sassy like a proper parrotlet, and they're eating pellets and different foods right off the bat. Their colors are absolutely stunning in person, too! Photos don't do them justice.

I'd definitely recommend Parrot Bliss to anyone looking for a new feathered buddy!

Edit: Day 2 update -- all 4 were all over me this morning (I've been hand-feeding their seed ration) and even flew back onto my hands after the food was gone and I put them on their perch. I'm very pleased with my birds and how quickly they've adapted!

Side note: Young parrotlets are known to be a little nippy and these guys are no exception, so I would not recommend this species if young kids will be handling them. They're NOT mean, just young, but it can sting a bit until they learn to be gentle.

I recently purchased a Parrotlet and a White-Capped Pionus from Parrot Bliss, and I couldn’t be happier. Both birds are healthy, affectionate, and clearly raised with care and love. It’s obvious that a lot of time and attention went into raising them. They are always available to answer questions and provide support, which has been so helpful. We originally met Kalyn and Xelha from our vet tech when looking for some new birds. After purchasing a lovely pair of parrotlets that we were so pleased with when then decided to purchase a beautiful conure, Jade- who has been successful in our breeding program. Their birds are kept in a pristine healthy environment. Both ladies are so very helpful and informative! We then came to find out that they do grooming as well as breeding. We brought 3 birds to them for grooming; a macaw, caique, and an amazon. Well worth the hour drive, as their expertise and bird handling reduced much stress. We highly recommend and will continue use their services. Thanks for being so great!
