Parrots for Sale

If you are looking for parrots for sale, I raise and place baby parrots from my home in West Palm Beach, Florida 33412. Prices range from $225 for some Pacific Parrotlets to $6,000 for African Greys. Families may pick up locally at no additional cost or have a healthy, fully weaned bird shipped by Delta Cargo to a major airport near them. Shipping is available within the continental United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii.

I’m Kalyn, the breeder behind Parrot Bliss. I keep my own breeding stock and hand-raise my babies with daily attention and socialization. That includes the Hahn’s Macaws born here. If I do not have babies of the species you want, I may be able to refer you to a reputable breeder I know and trust. I will always tell you plainly when a bird is not one I raised myself.

The parrots I offer include Lineolated Parakeets, also called Linnies; Pacific Parrotlets; Quaker Parrots; Sun Conures; Crimson-bellied Conures; Indian Ringnecks; Dusky Conures; Hahn’s Macaws; Cape Parrots; African Greys; and Galahs, also known as Rose-breasted Cockatoos.

Prices depend on the species and, in some cases, the color. Pacific Parrotlets are $225–$400, Sun Conures are $500–$800, Hahn’s Macaws are $2,750–$3,250, and African Greys are $6,000. Galahs are $3,800–$4,900. You can review more species-specific figures on my current prices and deposits page.

How placement works

Interest and reservation

I keep two different lists. The interest list is for families who are exploring a species or want to hear about future babies. Joining it does not reserve a bird or a place in line.

The Reservation List is for families who are ready to move forward. A baby is reserved only after I have both a signed contract and the required deposit. A contract without a deposit does not reserve a baby, and a deposit without the signed contract does not reserve one either.

Deposits start at $150 and vary by species. Linnies require a $150 non-refundable deposit. Quaker Parrots, Sun Conures, Crimson-bellied Conures, Indian Ringnecks, and Dusky Conures require a $200 non-refundable deposit. Deposit and shipping details for Pacific Parrotlets, Hahn’s Macaws, Cape Parrots, and African Greys vary by species, so please contact me.

The deposit holds the bird and is applied to the final balance. It is refundable only if Parrot Bliss cannot provide the bird. Current details are listed on the prices and deposits page.

I accept Zelle, Apple Pay, or cash for deposits and balances. I do not accept credit cards. If you are picking up your bird, the remaining balance is due at pickup. If your bird will travel by air, the balance must be paid before shipping is scheduled. DNA sexing is available for $35–$50, depending on the lab and turnaround.

Raising and weaning

Babies are hand-fed from the earliest safe age and receive daily attention and socialization. Their diet includes pellets, seeds, and fresh vegetables.

I never rush weaning. Each baby moves to solid food at its own pace, and that often means weaning toward the longer end of the usual window. A bird goes home only when fully weaned, healthy, and ready—never before.

Pickup or air shipping

There are two ways to bring your bird home. South Florida families are welcome to visit and pick up in West Palm Beach. Local pickup costs nothing beyond the price of the bird.

For families farther away, I use Delta Cargo live-animal air shipping from Palm Beach International Airport or Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to a major airport near the buyer. Shipping costs $200 for small birds such as Linnies and Parrotlets and $250 for larger parrots.

That price is the actual cost, with no markup. It includes the airline fee, the USDA-compliant travel crate that I provide, and all food and supplies needed for the journey. I never ship a bird that is unwell. Delta does not accept live birds for travel to Hawaii or Alaska, so I cannot ship to those states.
