Did you know that the Spinx macaw (the one in the cartoon movie, RIO) is now extinct in the wild?
Huge bummer – sad
But, here is a center where they are trying to breed a few pairs to keep the species going. This kind of thing warms my heart because I believe we need birds – and all of nature. It’s good to see people doing wonderful things for these magical birds!
